"I aim to make the world a little more beautiful each day by ensuring that people feel free to step in and marvel at all the splendour."

With two parents in the creative world, the young Jarri Sebestik grew up thinking it was completely normal to have a home studio for endless experimentation. Artists constantly visited, imparting to her, even at a young age, the understanding that creating art is a way for people to express their view of the world. The open-mindedness she developed then still characterises her - in museums and galleries, and even 'just' on the street. After all, art is everywhere.

And thus, art should be for everyone. Jarri seeks to counter the notion that art is surrounded by an aura of inaccessibility, leading people to say, 'I know nothing about art.' Jarri believes: "Of course you know something about art. You know if you find it beautiful, and you feel what it does to you, right?" Dialogue, according to Jarri, is essential. A piece of art can be used as a starting point for a real conversation. And yes, sometimes it's okay for it to be a bit contentious. Disagreement is inherent in being human and thus inherent in art.

Jarri earned her stripes at De Nieuwe Kerk and the Hermitage in Amsterdam, where she handled fundraising and relationship management with infectious enthusiasm. When it was time to stand on her own, she spent years searching within and beyond the Netherlands for the perfect mix of big names and young talent to bring together at Gallery SEB. She considers it a privilege to work with these wonderful art professionals and opens the doors of her gallery wide to anyone who wants to come and see the extraordinary art they create. Because, at its core, art - just like Jarri - is primarily a connector.
