Biography

“Each of us is a unique path, the path that love takes to illuminate the world.”

Bibliography

The artistic journey of Isabelle Jeandot (France, 1966) is characterised by a poetic exploration of the mystical nature of our reality.

Inspired by the idea that our five senses cannot grasp the full richness of existence, she seeks to transcend the limits of perception and logic by creating interface works, open doors to the unknown, invitations to step “through the looking glass”.
The use of plant forms in her sculptures guides the gaze and accompanies the visitor on an introspective path: the branches, foliage and leaves, meticulously modelled and then cast in bronze, suggest secret gardens, sacred spaces, passageways to other dimensions.

By creating works of art that encourage the viewer to turn inward and engage in quiet reflection, she aims to stimulate the viewer's intuition and bring them to a deeper state of understanding. Offering a glimpse into the dizzying depths of reality, she invites the viewer to travel to inner worlds, to dream, to explore microcosms with multiple levels of interpretation and to develop a deeper awareness of the beauty and complexity of the universe.
