Biography

"There is much to see outside; open your eyes."

Visual artist and photographer Nissim Men (born 1960, Tel Aviv) works around the theme of legacy. He started with street photography but over the years has evolved through staged and digital photography to digital fine art photography. Nissim employs a blend of digital photography and painting to bring both his inspiration and craftsmanship to life in dynamic compositions.

Nissim adds colour to the theme of legacy by exploring the concept of inheritance in his work. The connection between past, present, and future is central to him. Under the banner 'Legacy of Free Spirit,' he represents the legacy of his vision as an artist. In portraits of people, he captures the depth of their emotions, and in cityscapes, he captures the essence of a place in a single detail. He does the same in corporate portraits, highlighting significant moments through visual storytelling.

Nissim studied photography at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem and has travelled and worked around the world. He currently lives and works in Amsterdam.
